Enrichment Programming Overview

Flex Your Pen

Our 'Flex Your Pen' workshop guides youth through the art of songwriting using clean vocabulary. In an industry often overshadowed by negativity, especially in Hip Hop, we offer a positive counterbalance. Under the guidance of an experienced mentor, participants learn to express themselves through music while enhancing their reading and vocabulary skills. This program emphasizes the importance of positive language and provides tools for youth to create uplifting lyrics and melodies.

Table Talk Discussions

'Table Talk Discussions' provide a safe space for youth to tackle the top ten issues affecting them today, such as peer pressure, social media, dreams, and anger management. Led by experienced facilitators, these sessions offer in-depth discussions on topics that matter most to today's youth. Participants conclude with a culminating project on one of the subjects, turning their newfound knowledge into action and making a tangible impact on their community.
